For many business owners, summer brings a welcome change of pace. Calendars become a little lighter, vacations are planned, and we finally make time to enjoy the season we've been looking forward to.
But summer also marks something else.

Mid-year is one of the best opportunities to pause—not because something is wrong, but because successful businesses are built through intentional adjustments, not just hard work.
As a business owner, I've found that the middle of the year often tells me more than the end of the year ever could.
Am I cultivating the business owner I committed to becoming at the beginning of the year?
Are the habits I'm building supporting the future I'm working toward?
Am I consistently accomplishing the smaller milestones that move me toward my bigger goals?
A mid-year financial check isn't about judging yourself. It's about understanding where you are today so you can intentionally shape the next six months.
